Marshall Pottery
Marshall Pottery (4901 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672; (903) 938-9201) is one of the largest pottery stores in the United States and a beloved regional destination for group shopping tours. The sprawling store carries large numbers of pieces of handcrafted pottery, garden décor, and home goods, and the large paved lot easily accommodates charter buses and full-size motorcoaches — making it one of the most bus-friendly stops in the Marshall area. It's a popular anchor for group day trips, garden club outings, and seniors' tours across East Texas.
Located on Elysian Fields Road on the south side of Marshall, it's easy to reach from US-80 or I-20.
Ginocchio National Historic District & Marshall Depot
The Ginocchio National Historic District and the adjacent Marshall Depot (800 N Washington Ave, Marshall, TX 75670) form the historic heart of downtown Marshall. The district — anchored by the c. 1896 Ginocchio Hotel on the 200 block of W Grand Ave — is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and reflects Marshall's 19th-century prominence as a major railroad hub. The area comes alive every year from late November through December for the Wonderland of Lights festival, drawing large crowds to the courthouse square.
Bus drop-off is on N Washington Ave near the square. For Wonderland of Lights visits, book your bus two to four months in advance — this is Marshall's busiest transportation period of the year.
